Hot air balloons!

Hahas. I would really want to be in a hot air balloon when I have a chance. All these people are really creative!

8:43 PM

Met up with erly and yw at ion orchard. We walked around sephora and the heart shaped soaps smelled really good. It smelled delicious to me. The products were also arranged very prettily.Hahas.Hahas. We went to the toilet again and the cleaning auntie was unfriendly because erly tried to take pictures in the toilet. The auntie said: "NO PICTURES IN THE TOILET!" oh wells.

MIZAN was late! We kinda got lost when we were looking for mizan's gramaphone at B4. We went round and round and couldn't find it. Then he came to us and we filled an application form for the job in COMEX soon :D

I met up with my family at the singtel F1 and LG roadshow. My dad was interested to change to the singtel plan because it is able to allow us to get reception anywhere better than starhub. And thus, he got a LG phone there! He even asked the salesperson there if they had other phones beside LG and then, he realised that it's a LG roadshow -.-

Something stupid happened to me :( I was holding a can of nescafe that was ALMOST empty and I wanted to throw it away. I walked to the cleaner and at the same time, the cleaner was clearing the bag of rubbish from the dustbin. So, I decided to wait for him. Then, my dad was gesturing something to me so I gestured something back, while holding and shaking the can of nescafe. It was abit too late when I realised nescafe pouring little by little over me :( And I was wearing WHITE. So I had coffee stains on my right arm and right side of my top.

Got another top and jacket from NET. And went to Kim Robinsons for the free haircut (I got the free haircut coupon from a Shiseido and Kim Robinsons talk at my mum's workplace). My hairstylist was Randy. I thought I heard the name: Wendy, over the phone and in the end it was Randy. Hahas. He suggested for me to cut my hair short. I finally did :( Bye bye to my hair :( And even now I'm still not used to it. Randy and his assistant was really nice and Randy thought that my mum was my auntie. She was there too as we had another coupon and we tried to see if she could be slot in as she didn't make any appointment. My parents were very SUPPORTIVE of my short hair (that's what they wanted from the start). And even till now, I'm still not used to it. My mum also trimmed her hair and she looked better than before.

I smsed erly when I was at the Kim Robinsons and told her about me losing my long hair. She wanted me to MMS to her but I called her and since she was also in takashimaya, she came up to see me. Hahas. She couldn't stop smiling away.

Busy!

Have been really busy with MP this few days.
Woot~ the deadline's coming closer and closer so we're working hard to make it sure that it will be good. :D I kinda like this picture because it has an artistic feel to it.

Isn't this necklace really pretty? Hahas. I like it a lot! But the chain is abit too long. 23 inches

:( Been staring and sighing at it for awhile because it costs $25

Ion orchard

Friday
Stayed in school to around 5pm for the SIP briefing. Waited for awhile then we saw caixue. Hahas. Everybody said he looked skinnier. Entered LT 1 and it was FREEZING! We literally couldn't stop shivering while Ms Joanna announced the allocations. Erly and Jack is going into DBS :D. Hahas. I kinda pity Erly because she would have to see Jack everyday! Hahas. :P
Something happened for my SIP. Shan't talk about what happened. I guess when time comes, you guys will know which company I'll go to.
Went with erly to meet yw at orchard mrt station. Had the yummy pasta at takashimaya for dinner and yw brought us to the toilet of ion orchard and we camwhored there. Hahas. It's pretty with a lot of mirrors.
Saturday
We went to invest fair for the free seminars and to conduct surveys. The people there were really friendlier than those at Raffles Place and the first seminar by Mr Conrad Alvin Lim that we went to was really entertaining. Hahahahs. And we got goodie bags. It's heavy and I carried Jack's bag too :( We'll be going there tomorrow again. And we'll be able to drop by job central. Hahas. Since it is right beside invest fair, I was thinking of walking in and taking a look :D

Heavy Rain

It's been awhile since it rained so heavily or rather since I was in the rain. I simply love rain because there is a certain memory with wp and me. Both of us fishing in the rain. It really felt so right. My dad, my uncle and him fishing while I help them take the fishes out of the hooks. And he offered me his hat because I was wearing a poncho (my mum insisted) and the wind kept blowing my hood down :( There were tons of fishes because it was raining and we didn't stop working. Hahas. Because it was raining, as soon as the line went into the sea, the fishes would come straightaway. :D That's why I like rain. I didn't tell anyone about this before. I think. Not sure if I told erly. But anyways today's rain really brought back memories......

Badminton and The Proposal

Played badminton with jack, erly and joanne. Hahas. Seriously. They were very funny. Thinking of group cheers. Hahahs and joanne's "oh shit oh yes oh no!".Hahahas. It was stressed and enjoyable playing badminton with them. Stressed because jack is a good player. Hahas.
I won a pair of tickets to watch the proposal from Nuffnang. Thanks Nuffnang!
And I brought my mum to watch it. The sarcasm going between the two of them (Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds) is enough to make you laugh. Hahas. I shan't be a spoiler but I really liked the movie a lot and had a good laugh.
We went to Lido to pick up the tickets and at first we couldn't find the booth. Then, we realised that they haven't set up the booth yet. -.- Anyways, I saw Xiaxue there too. I collected the tickets and it was free-seating. And my mum being a very typical Singaporean, rushed to the ticketing guy so that we could enter the cinema. We waited awhile till we could enter and even though the cinema looked really small, it was amazing for me because I haven't been into one just like that and it felt like I was experiencing something in the past (hahas. I kinda hard to explain.) There were some girls sitting in the rows around us. Hahas. And when they were about to kiss. They were saying "Kiss kiss kiss!". Hahahas. They couldn't contain their excitement and started squealing away.
And and and
I find Ryan Reynolds cute! Hahahs. But I kinda like most of the actor in the show when i watch it. Hahas. I can be able to feel and understand why the lady in the show will make certain decisions here and there. Woot~ Ryan Reynolds.

Tired

I know I'm being random. But that's what I'm feeling now. A whole lot of tiredness and a wee bit of headache. I've got to finish my individual journal so I can possibly fall asleep now. I got to finish it!
Hahas. A picture to share with u guys. AWWW.

Singapore Toys Games & Comic Convention 2009 and so on :D

Saturday
I had hi-tea with my family at Ellenborough Market Café at Swissotel Merchant Court as my mum managed to win 2 tickets to hi-tea so she only had to pay for another 2 more person. I was really looking forward to it and somehow it turned out to be a dissapointment in some areas. The food wasn't really very delicious although they did have a large variety of food. There was lontong goreng, tahu goreng and so on. My favorite was bread and butter pudding! YUMS!
After that, I wanted to go to the Toys Games & Comic Convention 2009 so my mum went along with me because we were really full and we just had to walk around. We saw many cosplayers! Hahas.
We saw bumblebee at the entrance of the hall. Wonder how he sees =X

I saw this and I immediately told my mum that this is the picture of the doll that siew lin wears on her earrings! Hahas.

We stopped in front of Monopoly City and there were two booths to allow people to try out the games. One in front and another behind. The front was crowded with people and the one at the back was empty. However, when we walked to the back, my mum said "Wah! He so lonely". She meant the person in charge of the booth. And apparently the guy heard and said "Yes! I'm so lonely!" Hahas. We were shocked because she said it too loudly. After that, we approached the guy and he introduced the game to us. Monopoly City is a whole new level different from the Monopoly that we normally play. You don't have Community Chest anymore and there are two types of houses that you can choose to build: the residential and industrial house. There are also auctions tile that you can land on and you can build a school or prison. Sounds confusing eh? The people around me, listening to the guy's explanation were all middle aged people. And we were all "HUH?". According to the guy, it just came out 3 days ago so it costs $79.90.

I know. Very ex right? I'll wait for the prices to drop and might consider buying it. Hahas. Wait for offer! :P

The above pictures were taken from http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/showthread.php?t=2467335.

There was a bridal and beauty exhibition going on next door so we went over as my mum wanted to take a look at some spa promotions and offer. We walked one round and these guys keep offering to me the promotions of the bridal company. Hahahs. There was one guy who asked my mum if I was going to get married and my mum said NO. Hahahs. There was another that was equally hilarious. I'll make it to a conversation form.

Guy (asking my mum): Is she your sister?

Mum: Yes.

Guy: oooooooooh~

Me: Actually, I'm her daughter.

And the best part was that they looked like they didn't believe it. They really thought that I was "her sister". All thanks to my mum. Then my mum had to remind me that if I'm "her sister", they think that I look older :(

Sunday

Went to watched orphan because my mum said that the reviews, according to the chinese newspapers were very good. Walked around at artbox at amk hub. The funny thing was that I realised that amk hub had an artbox only a few days ago. -.-

Anyways, the storyline for the movie was HORRIBLE! What kind of a person can have a disorder that makes her look as young as a child?!UGH! And the father would choose to trust the kid instead of the mother? Their acting was not bad and there were some moments that I jerked but it wasn't really scary at all. -.- Hahas. My dad left the movie halfway (I think) and went to NTUC to buy breakfast. Yes, it was that boring to him!

The Proposal

When I first saw the trailer of the proposal, the first thought that ran through my mind was "I really pity the guy!" Hahas. To want to quit every single day! Margaret (Sandra Bullock) must be the last boss on the world anybody would want. As she has to be deported, she brillantly comes up with a lie that she's getting married to Andrew. The entire story goes for a twist. The expression on Andrew face is priceless. And thereafter the both of them goes to visit Andrew's family. I have a feeling that the show will end with a happy ending. Awww.

I want to catch the Proposal as I feel that it will be very interesting to see what happens when Margaret interacts with Andrew's family and how the two of them will be. Together, I hope? It would be hilarious, looking at them trying to get along with each other.

The Proposal opens in cinemas 20 August 2009

UP!

I arrived earlier to buy the movie tickets for Up 3D at amk hub and it was fully booked! Only left with the third row from the front. Called the rest and so we ended up watching Up at 7.20 (the one without 3d). Ate at Macs and went to catch Up.
It was really funny!
My favorite scene was when Charlie Munz said "Where are they? Can somebody tell me where they are?" *Russell rubs against the mirror from one side to the other* HAHAS
I managed to find a look alike of russell on facebook. Hahahas. But he doesn't has as many badges.
*knock knock* can I come in?

Long update :D

Last Thursday
Erly, Yw and I went to meet at City Hall and we had dinner at Gloria Jeans.
Woot~ the potato salad was really worth it! From the container, it looked really little but when the waiter put it in a bowl. It was a lot!! Hahas. I was super full in the end. Yw felt the same too.
Erly lent me her hairband because she brought a lot of hairbands and took out a white one.
Hahas. Erly told me to act like a doll. But when I look at erly's face. I can't help but start laughing :P

I like this picture :D

We had to meet pj at mediacorp for the chinese version of don't forget the lyrics (我要唱下去) and we were late! so we took cab. There was a slight jam but we managed to reach there. During the cab ride, it was funny. We know more about yw's friend (zi ba boom) and the origin of her nickname. Hahas. I think that's the way to spell it.Pj was already there and she helped us fill in our tickets with our name and number. We sat in the last row and i realised that the host for the show was 曾国城. I think he's really good. There was this guy that helped to warm everybody up. After that, we had to move in front to the first row because some supporters had to leave as they had been sitting there from afternoon till then.

Funny situation: The guy who warmed us up was busily speaking to us in chinese and he stopped right in front of erly and erly was frantically nodding her head. Hahas. When he left, we just broke out into laughter because we knew that erly didn't understand chinese.
Spot me if you can :D

Saturday
I watched overheard with my parents. We went to amk hub to watch. The aircon was super cold! Have to remind myself to bring a thick jacket next time. I like the story but somehow something's still missing. Sunday
It's Singapore's birthday. I went to this hawker centre and saw the whole family wearing red and white from top to toe. So patriotic! Hahas! Watched a bit of the ndp. Hahaas. The Red Lions part. OOOOOOH YEAAA!!.hahahhas.they were supposed to shout that when the Red Lions land. I think I would really be feeling the energy and patriotic-ness if I was involved in the ndp. Went to hougang point to buy some grapes and I saw Jack there. Hahahhaas. I still remember his super BLUR face. HAHAS. Went to my granduncle's house and watched abit of singapore idol. Managed to catch abit here and there through all of the talking. There was this guy who dressed up as Johannes Krauser (the guy below). He made a small kid cry because he looked really scary.

Monday

We watched Where got ghost too. I liked the comedy parts of the show. Hahas. Super funny! With local movies by Jack Neo, he always manages to incorporate the "singaporean" part into the movie. I didn't quite like the storylines of the show though and it was obvious that some parts were digital. Oh ya. There's NG too. So you guys have to stay back to watch. It's really funny! I'm not gonna be a spoiler and share it :D

Browshaus

I went to browshaus with yw today and we did threading. The lady at the counter said that threading is cleaner and faster and all that and I didn't try threading before. I had to use my right hand to hold somewhere my right part of my head and my left hand to push down my eyelids. Sounds confusing huh? At the end, I was tearing away because it was a long long time since I did anything to my eyebrows. :( PAIN! HAHAS. And I couldn't stop complaining to everyone I saw after that :( hahahas.
Oh ya. By the way, I feel that they have really good customer service. The lady who helped me thread my eyebrows was very nice and when I told her that I didn't want my eyebrows to be too thin. She said "Oh sure. I'll thread it according to the shape." The threading lasted about 10-15 mins. After that, she started to promote to us about the package of threading eyebrows. Seriously? I didn't quite catch it because she was really fast at doing the math and busy pressing the calculator. I just nodded all the way :P

As we were starving, yw and I had auntie anne's pretzel. I ate parmesan cheese. ITS CHEESE! :D
I was really satisfied. I can't say the baby and I had the same expression but u get the point. After that, yw still wanted to eat so we had the cappuccino cheesecake at starbucks coffee. DOUBLE CHEESE! hahas.
Then we met up with erly. A small confusion happened. But yepp. It was funny. Then they headed to vivo while I waited for my mum at harbourfront mrt station and headed for dinner.

Nobody Nobody But You

When I typed the title, it kinda reminded me of Erly's "No money, no money but you".
Hahahas. The tune is very catchy. So as long as I hear it, it just get stuck in my head for very very long.

I'm in love with wondergirls because I think they're really great. A group with a strong friendship and each of them has their good qualities. After watching many youtube videos, I can proudly name to you the members. There's So Hee (the youngest in the group and the cutest), Sun Mi (the one who is so called the weirdest and kinda in her own world), Sun Ye (the group leader), Ye Eun (she has a very powerful voice) and Yoo Bin (personally, I feel that she's the prettiest out of everyone and a very good rapper too! :D). Another reason why I admire about them is because they are somewhat what I want to be, I guess. Successful singers! Hahas. But even successful singers have their own set of stories to tell.

I really enjoy this version of Nobody, done by Jan (my ex-boss).
